Morgan appeared in a documentary clip Safe Sex for Men and Women on AIDS education and prevention. A portion of the profits went to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is also a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a part of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Force. She has also spearheaded numerous other fundraising initiatives in the fight against AIDS and testified before a particular Congressional Committee on AIDS Education. Morgan is also a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar and the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her to at times take his place in AIDS activities. And she co-hosted an AIDS Awareness Special alongside anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline about AIDS. Morgan won one Emmy Award in Diane English's special Murphy Brown episode that was made specifically for Morgan. Morgan co-starred on the ABC TV series Your Money or Your Wife with Joan Rivers. The summer began in the form of Murder At The PTA Luncheon, produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams also appeared. The next film she was in sent her to Luxembourg for Harmony Gold's production of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady that also featured Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also starred as the lead in a psychological thriller which was exclusively produced by the USA Network. It received one of the best ratings ever recorded by the network.
